Juve’ Hearts will target girls between the ages of 12-18, who are currently incarcerated in a secure juvenile detention center, on the track to transition into society. We are launching our very first pilot project in January 2020, a 12-month signature coaching program in New York City, targeting girls who are placed in any one of the five boroughs. Juve’ Hearts will focus primarily on the heart posture of the girls who will participate by working diligently as a life coach and mentor. The work Juve’ Hearts will do through its pilot program is designed to effect change from the inside of her heart to the outside of her physical environment and surroundings. Juve’ Hearts will ensure incarcerated girls have access to necessary resources and life skills to make a successful re-entry into society as they prepare to be released from a juvenile detention center.
